FAQs

What is the best email address to contact the events team on?

Can I pay corkage to bring in my own drinks?

This is an option and depending on the drinks will determine the price per bottle please email to enquire about costs.

Can we bring in our own catering?

Yes, you can as long as they have all up to date food safety documents and any electrical equipment is all PAT tested.

We can also provide some recommendations if you wanted any.

What furniture do you have available?

We have mix of furniture including 6ft rounds, 6ft trestle tables, bench chairs and banqueting chairs.

Is there disabled access and facilities?

The public access is all one level, and the disabled toilets can be found via the foyer through the main entrance.

If access to green rooms is needed, which is on the next level then this can be done using the lift.

Do I have to pay in full?

A 20% deposit is required upon booking and the final payment is two weeks before.

Will I receive a refund if the event is cancelled by the Box?

If Site Management have to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including damage to the venue by fire, flood, etc then a full refund of any booking fees will be made

What AV equipment is available?

Please contact the events team regarding AV who will be able to provide details on what equipment is available.

Can I book a private party?

Yes we take private party bookings apart from 18th and 21st. Please contact the events team with any enquiries.

Can we pre-order drinks?

You can pre-order from the drinks already available or if there is something in particular that you would like for your event, we can check if we can order from our drink’s supplier.

Can we use our own decorations?

Please contact the events team to discuss what decorations you would like use and we can advise if they can be used as well what materials can be used to hang or display them.

Can children attend a private event in the evening?

If the event is private party, wedding or function then they are allowed to stay during the evening.

Some public events in the Box (ticketed or non-ticketed) run by Fargo Village, may be suitable for children and if so are allowed to stay until 9pm, however there will some events that children will not be allowed entry at any time. Please contact Fargo Village team to double check.

Can I cancel?

Any cancellation by you of the booking is subject to a charge of 20% of the initial booking cost and 50% of the initial booking cost if the cancellation is made less than 4 weeks before the date of the event.

How do I pay deposit and final balance?

An invoice will be sent

How do you access the building to drop equipment off?

There is a private car park near the backstage which the events can provide access too where equipment can be dropped off. Further details can be provided when required.
